This is a solid piece that allows you to set it on a table or attach to the wall. The clear plastic is nice because it blends into the background. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

I can't believe how solid this easel is! I was worried that it wouldn't be stable enough and that the large platter I wanted to display might tip over. But this is awesome!
